Do you think you’ve got the skills to take on The Socceroos?

This month you might just get your opportunity to find out ahead of the World Cup Qualifier against Kyrgyzstan at Canberra Stadium. On Tuesday 10 November the national side will be spending time with local fans during a lunchtime penalty shoot-out challenge in Garema Place.

From 10.00am until 12.00pm you can test your mettle with a ‘best of three’ shoot-out challenge for your chance to win a cash prize and tickets to the game. Entrants will each have the chance to ‘sub-in’ in one of the Socceroos to take the shot at goal.

Think of it as an exclusive ‘lifeline’ that could make or break your chance. Do you play your Australian star early in order to get a lead? Or do you save them for that last-minute match-winner or a crucial tie breaker?

The choice is yours!

It’s all a part of the pre-match excitement as the team leads up to the big game on Thursday 12 November. On Tuesday at this fun event, the focus will be on the fans as they get the opportunity to meet their heroes for autographs and photos and the opportunity to ask the players any of the questions that us mere mortals want to know.

TAB.com.au are proud supporters of The Socceroos, and are excited for the opportunity to bring the beloved side to the city. Courtesy of TAB, each entrant will receive a $50 TAB betting voucher, and whoever comes out on top during the Penalty Shoot-out Challenge will walk away with $500.00 and two tickets to the big game.

To register for the event, simply visit www.tab.com.au/promotions and submit your details to stand a chance to have a Penalty Shoot out with a Socceroo on your team.
