Summer fun in Canberra is about to sizzle with Roller Skate in the City, the national capital’s first outdoor roller skate rink in Garema Place.
Tickets now on sale for Roller Skate in the City, which is an initiative of Canberra CBD Ltd and provides all ages with the opportunity to roller skate in the middle of the city from Friday 6th January.
Skate in the City, the winter ice skating rink in Garema Place, was extremely popular and this time, Canberrans and visitors are encouraged to take part and enjoy the outdoor summer activity in the city.
Roller Skate in the City will feature retro movie nights including Xanadu, Roller Derby demonstrations and feature skate displays.
Locally-based companies, Vida Sparkling Vitamin Water and Chameleon Ice Creamery, will also be present on rink to refresh and rehydrate the summer roller skaters.
