A new setting – and a new evolution – means Canberrans now have a new summer festival on the radar.
Psyfari Jamboree, the new offshoot of Psyfari Festival originally held in the Blue Mountains, is coming to Canberra on Friday 23 to Sunday 25 February.
The organisers say the event will be “a little more intimate” than the last Psyfari.
“We’ll be tucked away in a new setting, with some beautiful fresh scenery to admire as we dance, play and camp under the stars,” the event’s website states.
“The most valuable and unique thing about Psyfari Jamboree is that it’s lovingly curated to cultivate a strong sense of community. It’s a place to bond with our besties, befriend new buddies and let the party carry us all together through the wild and wicked weekend.”
The festival will be held at Caloola Farm, roughly 50 minutes south of Canberra and located in the stunning Tharwa region of the ACT, offering 500 acres of natural wonderland backing onto the Namadgi National Park.
International guests include Beats Antique featuring Sidecar Tommy & David Satori, Aphrodite, Bombax and Flooting Grooves, while Aussie acts Lime Cordiale, Ryanosaurus, Dark Nedula, Chromatone and heaps more will provide the soundtrack for the weekend.
