Mother’s Day is fast approaching and for those who are not fortunate enough to still have their mum here to celebrate with, this time of year can be quite lonely. Not-for-profit group Motherless Daughters Australia are putting on a Mother’s Day High Tea event in Canberra to connect and unite women who have lost their mums. They also provide an online platform that acts as a peer support group.
The Motherless Daughters pre Mother’s Day High Tea is on Sunday 5 May, 1 – 3pm at Mantra MacArthur Hotel.
Tickets are $49 inclusive of high tea and champagne, anyone struggling with the lead up to/and Mother’s Day is encouraged to go along.
