Hooray! Spring is in the air, which means everyone heads out to the races at Thoroughbred Park!
The race that stops the nation is celebrated all over Australia but if you have never been to the races or if you are in the social mood then Thoroughbred Park is the place to be! With 7 races held on course you can enjoy a day out, and why not do it in style and book your ticket into the all new Deck Marquee, known as the tab.com.au marquee.
This marquee is decorated in finery, complete with DJ, cocktails and canapes, you’ll think you are in the birdcage at Melbourne. The who’s who of media and corporates will be here enjoying this all new marquee that overlooks the track and Mounting Yard. The annual Students’ Race Day on Friday, 16 October 2015 is now in it’s 5th year and will see students from the 5 Canberra institutions gather on track for a great day out. Free admission, Fashions on the Field and student drink specials will ensure a great afternoon of Spring Racing. This is an 18+ event only!
Thoroughbred Park deliver on a great day out and have some great packages for Christmas Parties on race days, or if it’s an evening function is what you are after then the Deck Marquee is available for hire. Catering and beverages are included.
