The annual Indulge Coffee & Chocolate Expo is on again this Saturday at the National Convention Centre. For one day only, treat yourself with a wide variety of local and regional exhibitors showcasing the very best coffee and chocolates in the country.
Previously held at the Old Bus Depot Markets, the expo met with an overwhelming response from the Canberra public to create something bigger. So, this year it has set sights on an even bigger and better event held at National Convention Centre, which will be transformed into a space to escape Canberra’s winter chill – after all what more do you need to warm up than coffee and chocolate?
Take your time and wander through the Indulge market place, get lost in the aromas of coffee and chocolate and relish the opportunity to talk to exhibitors and sample all of their sweet treats.
Adding a local aspect to the expo, Braddon’s favourite ice-cream engineers, Frugii, is back once again to deliver its signature treats and desserts, as well as My Sweet Alice, Canberra’s very own travelling bar and coffee van delivering warm hot chocolates, coffees and treats.
Practically Perfect Portions are also back, delivering mouthwatering, flavourful cakes in a jar so you can walk away with the perfect portion. Joining the exhibition from Sydney, Lush Berries will showcase a variety of beautiful strawberries dipped in rich, creamy chocolates and luscious toppings.
For all the coffee addicts out there, award-winning Tanna Coffee is bringing its organically-grown coffee from Tanna Island in the South Pacific near Vanuatu.
One of the newer additions to speakeasy bars in Canberra, Suke Suke, has also been announced as a new exhibitor to the festival. For those of you looking to warm up and indulge in something a little less PG, Suke Suke is offering delicious coffee and chocolate flavoured cocktails for only $10 all day.
So brave the cold and head out to the National Convention Centre this Saturday to warm up and indulge in a day showcasing the best of life’s sweetest treats.
