The Brumbies are certainly ramping it up for the last home game of the season. In fact, here is so much happening around this match it’s hard to take it all in at once!

Hands Across Canberra
If 20,000 Canberrans attend the match at GIO Canberra Stadium, the Brumbies will donate $20,000 to Hands Across Canberra as they work to fund and support a wide rage of services across the Canberra region. Hands Across Canberra’s activities touch the lives of many of our city’s less fortunate, and The Brumbies are proud to be associated with their ongoing work.

So, apart from a great outcome for the community, there are plenty of other reasons to be one of the 20,000 people at the ground to cheer The Brumbies this Saturday night.

Super 15 Final Rematch
Remember the disappointment of last year’s final? The Brumbies had become increasingly impressive as the season went on, and winning the 2013 title was looking a real prospect. The only problem was having to play the defending champions in New Zealand: a daunting prospect for any team.

The result was a disappointment for Brumbies fans – we had led by 22-12 with 17 minutes to go, only to have The Chiefs run us down and snatch the crown 27-22.

ANZAC Day
On ANZAC day this year, without either of the national anthems being played despite the auspicious day for both sides on either side of The Ditch, The Brumbies exacted their revenge. In a highly entertaining match, the home side ran out 41-23 winners – something that will be very much in the minds of the visiting team.

This Week
Despite another season filled with a horrendous injury toll, The Brumbies’ roster is looking about as good as it has since the fourth round match against the Western Force. A number of key Brumbies – including Pat McCabe and Joe Toman – started from the bench.

It’s a sign that the injury toll is lessening and, importantly, that the players sent to fill the gaps are performing at a level that puts them in the run-on side. This will be key for The Brumbies this week, as they need to build on last week’s improvement across the latter stages of the game.

Next Steps
We need a big crowd to head out to GIO Canberra Stadium on Saturday to ensure both The Brumbies and Hands Across Canberra are the big winners for the night. The next step on the path to Super 15 glory will be the NSW Waratahs in Sydney – a prospect that can only be conquered with some great momentum from a couple of strong performances against The Force and The Chiefs.

Tickets are available now, but head on over to OutInDeals now to grab a burger and a GA ticket for Saturday’s match. At only $25.00 per person, everyone’s a winner!
