The City will swarm with more than 200,000 local and interstate visitors over the course of three-day National Multicultural Festival. From Friday 21 to Sunday 23 February celebrate difference, share traditions and see performances from all parts of the world throughout the festival. Multicultural is the festival of the season dip into other cultures, with the festival set to have over 330 stalls to experience a diverse range of food and drink.
Expect live music, dancing, performance art, overwhelming food stalls, street parties and local, national and international artists. Australian singer-songwriter and recording artist, Vanessa Amorosi, former MasterChef winner, Adam Liaw and Canberran Local, LIV LI will headline the National Multicultural Festival in 2020.
A jam-packed program across 6 stages and 2 Platforms will surely keep you singing and dancing for the whole festival. The National Multicultural Festival Parade has everything from beautiful dancers and marching bands, to magnificent floats.
Participation in the parade has grown, with the 2020 Parade expecting over 2,000 performers partaking in the event including a diverse group of cultural performers representing Canberra’s diverse community.
