You may not be able to tell at first glance, yet inside the theatre rooms you’ll find a selection of seating options for a more relaxed experience.
While the team were convinced it was time for an upgrade, the most important aspect was maintaining value, offering a reasonable price point and ensuring families had access to enjoy cinema experiences – just like good old days.
Netflix doesn’t quite compare to treating the kiddies to the movies in the school holidays, enjoying a new release on the big screen or a cute date night!
In maintaining affordability, Limelight have introduced price tiers based on seating preferences.
In the two XD theatres where you’ll find floor to ceiling – wall to wall viewing screens, guests can now also opt for the ultimate experience with new electronic recliners, swivel tables and wireless phone charges – we loved this idea for comfort and practicality!
These new schmancy chairs have been positioned in the front of the theatre to provide the option to guests to enhance their experience if they choose. Otherwise, those looking to maintain the popular price point we love limelight for can stick to the standard seating towards the back of the cinema.
Another two cinemas have been given a revamp with an in between seating option. Limelight Cinema Plus now offer new comfortable glide back chairs and spacious leg room.
Allowing guests to make their own purchasing decision means visitors can select from traditional experience and maintain price point, or splurge on more luxe cinema experience. Whichever way choose to go, Limelight has also retained a liquor license, so you can sip on your favourite bevvie throughout the movie.
Die-hard fans have waited two years for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and now it’s here. We just hope that with beer in hand and chair reclined fans don’t drift off and miss the highly anticipated movie due to enhanced comfort!
