Summer Paradise Seekers and Treehouse bar – Friday 2 November

From 7pm the night will showcase a range of new products stocked by Summer Paradise Seekers the label steaming off what has been seen at FASHFEST last year in conjunction with introducing new label Flamingo + Sass who have just started out last month in Canberra’s Niche markets. A number of special guests and speakers will be there on the night including Sarah Kelly and Jason roses from 104.7.  Go along and share the support local canberra business in the fashion industry expressing our city’s creativity with a night of cocktails and entertainment.

Ladies High Tea at Brick & Basil- Friday 2 November

An inspiring afternoon featuring a bright conversation from guest speaker Lanai Scarr, Senior Reporter from News Corp Australia in support of their Charity of the Year, Marymead. From 2-5pm, indulge in a high tea whilst Lanai will share her life story on motherhood, her career and her childhood as a youth in foster care. Canberra Centre’s Lifestyle precinct in Monaro Mall is celebrating its first birthday! The precinct filled with unique local products and world-class brands will come alive with cooking demonstrations, champagne, live entertainment and giveaways. Cooking queen’s, Sammy and Bella – winners of My Kitchen Rules 2011 and hosts of Channel Ten’s Kitchen Rescue – will be showing off their skills in a morning (10am) and afternoon (1pm) cooking demonstration with a focus on how to cook a luxury spread!

A Festival of food at La Grande Fete- Saturday 3 November

La Grande Fête will be a celebration of all things French and all things food, serving fete-goers everything from raclette to saucisson and crepes, as well as a True Blue BBQ, German Bratwurst and more. A Trek mountain bike and $5000 towards return airfares to Paris will also be up for grabs in the Raffle Extraordinaire. The fete will be taking place from 2:30pm until 7pm at Telopea Park School in Barton.

Potterfest- A Harry Potter Marathon at Palace Electric- Saturday 3 November After two sell-out events in 2017 and to celebrate the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Palace Electric will be screening PotterFest once again featuring all films.
