Eden at QT – Friday 26 October

Just like the biblical story, Eden at QT offers a little piece of paradise starting the evening with innocence at sunset, until the first drop of gin kicks in and it’s time to sin. The boutique Hotel has collaborated with local gin masters The Canberra Distillery to develop Eden Limited Edition. Guests will receive an Eden Edition cocktail comprising of a sprig of spring and a pinch of poison on arrival. Bohemian Rhapsody Preview Screening- Friday 26 October

Bohemian Rhapsody is set for a preview screening at Dendy Cinemas! The film is based around Singer Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and bass guitarist John Deacon who take the music world by storm when they form the rock ‘n’ roll band Queen in 1970. The screening kicks off at 6.45pm with live performers and complimentary drinks and sweet treats included on arrival. Tickets are $20 for Club Dendy members and $25 for General Admission. Canberra and Region Wine Show Public Tasting- Sat 27 October

The Canberra Wine House are proud to be supporting this year’s ACTEWAGL Canberra and Region Wine Show, and now you can try some of the incredible wines for yourself at their exclusive public tasting event. From 4-6pm, specially selected winemakers from the Canberra and Region Wine Show will be showcasing a variety of their award-winning wines exclusively at the venue. The afternoon will be filled with some of the best Canberra region cool-climate wines, grazing platters stacked with mouth-watering local produce, and the opportunity to meet the makers behind the wines. Canberra Nara Candle Festival- Saturday 27 October

Discover an evening of cultural exchanges and connections as Canberra Nara Candle Festival celebrates the 25th year of the sister city relationship between Canberra and Nara, Japan. Hosted at the magical Nara Peace Park in Lennox Gardens at 4-9pm, the Festival offers a vibrant and family friendly atmosphere, complemented by a variety of Japanese arts and crafts, such as lantern making, ikebana and drumming workshops. Halloween 40th Anniversary Spooktacular at Palace Electric- Saturday 27 October

In the spirit of Halloween, Palace Electric Cinemas is screening all 8 films of the original Michael Myers saga in a marathon event for the 40th Anniversary of the original Halloween film. Quizzic Alley hosts Halloween Party to remember little Lexie – Saturday 26 October 

Quizzic Alley, Canberra’s very own shop specialising in all things Harry Potter, will host a Halloween Party this Friday 26 October in memory of owner Michael Milton’s little cousin Lexie, with all funds raised donated to Cerebral Palsy in the ACT. Quizzic Alley staff, along with volunteers from Cerebral Palsy ACT and members of Melissa and Michael’s family will run activities from 6pm on the night at the Fyshwick store. There will be a sausage sizzle, craft activities, games, face painting, a special appearance from Professor Bumblebore.
