This dark haired duo have released a string of studio albums since they formed in 2002 and in 2008, the pair have jumped aboard the St Jeromes Laneway Festival express, with shows at the Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney legs.
60’s clad and brown eyed, Heather and Jonathan have performed with the likes of Architecture in Helsinki, Postal Service, The Futureheads and will be supporting Canadian act, Broken Social Scene, on their European Tour later this year.
If you don’t have a ticket to the Laneway Festival, you don’t need one, because The Brunettes are making a special stop between Melbourne and Brissie Laneways’s, to shimmy into our nation’s capital in a 1 show only, intimate performance.

Host to intimate local gigs, Bar32 is reminiscent of a crowded corridor at a rockin’ house party. The music acts are situated on the ground, while the crowds form a circle around them, in a truly unadulterated setting.
Having the Brunettes perform their sweet, uncomplicated pop in this raw atmosphere is well worth your $5 cover charge. If you asked for more, you would be greedy.
