We put the question out to you guys: Where can you find some of the best macarons in Canberra? These were the top 6 votes. Congratulations to our winner for this week, Matt Priest.
Flute Bakery
In my opinion, the best macaroons in Canberra can be found at Flute Bakery in Fyshwick!

Ricardo’s
I’ve had a few macaroons in my time but the best are fro Ricardo’s in Jamison – freshest, most flavoursome, soft-as-heaven on the inside but crunchy aand delicate on the outside. My favourites are salted caramel (which has a shimmering metallic-gold glaze), lemon, and pistachio. They also sell macaroon towers – nuff said.
I would also say they do the best chicken burger 🙂

Dream Cuisine Patisserie
Macarons are one of my loves and sadly I haven’t mastered the art of making them – so i’ve just settled for buying them instead. The most delectable macarons I’ve tasted are from Dream Cuisine. My favourite macaron is made from the most delicate biscuit with a salted caramel filling… Sandwiched with just the right amount of filling, it just melts in your mouth. Coupled with a nice cup of tea it’s just delightful! A few grams that will leave your senses quivering with pleasure.

Sweet Petite
The best macaroons in town are definitely from Sweet Petite.
Also available at Shop Handmade every Friday.

Farmer’s Daughter
The pistachio macaroon at Farmer’s Daughter is perfect – not too creamy, just right.

Petit Pois
Petit Pois in Dickson have the yummiest and sweetest macaroons I have ever tasted!
