CanTeen Album Covers Trivia Night – Friday 28
CanTeen is back for another trivia night at the Canberra Southern Cross Club. From 6:30-11:30pm enjoy a night filled of fun, games, a live charity auction and a two-course meal with drinks. This year’s theme is ‘Album Covers’, think CD’s, vinyl records, movie soundtracks and all things musical! The night not only raises money for young people living with cancer but it also creates an opportunity for young people to show their talents as they lead, organise and host the event. RNB Rihanna Tribute night at Fiction Club – Friday 28
Come party under Fiction Club’s umbrella on Friday for a Rhianna Tribute night. Nothing but Rihanna vibes in the room with special lighting, visuals and DJ’s. Doors for the event open at 10pm and entry is free before 11pm. More information here.
Dal Zotto Wine Dinner at East Hotel- Saturday 29

When Harry Met Sally 30th Anniversary at Dendy – Saturday 29
Grab your tissues and popcorn for the 30th anniversary screening of When Harry Met Sally at Dendy Cinemas. There will be two sessions of the classic rom-com over the weekend, one on Saturday at 7pm and the other on Sunday at 2:15pm. Tickets are $15 general admission and $12 for members, grab tickets here.
Haig Park Paw Party – Saturday 29
Head to Haig Park with your pooch from 9am-12pm for their experimental unfenced dog-friendly area, equipped with water bowls, bins and bags and dog agility equipment. The day includes a doggy scavenger hunt, canine obedience advisor and photographer. You’ll find the new temporary dog park between Greenway, Masson and McCaughey street. See Facebook for information.
Canberra Kids Market – Saturday 29
Have a chance to sell your loved but no longer needed kids winter clothing, or find pre loved goodies to buy at Exhibition Park from 9am-12pm! You can apply to sell on their website or if you’re just interested in finding bargains on 0-12 year old clothing and accessories such as toys, strollers, car seats and party supplies stop by and have a walk around their many stalls. Warm Soup and Cool Jazz at Olims Bar & Bistro – Sunday 30
Warm up to Olims Bar & Bistro’s selection of $5 soup from their soup bar and $10 mulled wine. To accompany the night the Tilt Trio Band will also be playing some cool Jazz from 5:30-9pm. No tickets are required for this event, but for more information go to the event’s Facebook page.
June Beergustation @ Pialligo Estate – Sunday 30
Pialligo Estate and Capital Brewing Co have teamed up for an afternoon of beer, beer and more beer. The beergustation includes 10 beers, 10 matched food plates and beer games.
