Captain’s Flat Hotel – Friday 24 – Saturday 25
Raise the fun fest: a great initiative to provide support as a result of the devastating fires across NSW and to bring people together to create a dynamic community that will help those who have been affected. This will involve a two-day music fundraiser, running from 6pm Friday the 24th of January to Saturday night @12am the 25th of January at Captain’s Flat southwest of Canberra and it will involve a range of artists playing to assist in raising funds for NSW Rural Fire Services and Wildcare Queanbeyan.

Ladies who brunch: Grab your girl crew and join us for Hotel Kurrajong’s second ‘Ladies Who Brunch’. Just like their first sell out event, this will be a morning of indulgence including chocolate syrup coated waffles, smashed avocado and free flowing beverages including bottomless mimosas and their signature “Ladies who Brunch” cocktail. There will be live entertainment on the day provided by one of our favourite local ladies plus a photo booth to capture all the fun!

Hottest 100 Party: Celebrate the best beers and tunes of 2019 at the Taproom. Share a froth in celebration of delicious indie beer getting the recognition it deserves in the GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beers poll. Running giveaways and games all day with Triple J’s Hottest 100 blasting to satisfy your ear holes. A small army of tinnies will be handed out each time a Capital Brewing beer appear in the Great Australian Beer Spectapular – GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer Countdown.

Moosie’s Beach party with Coca-Cola: The beach dress theme is crucial at this party, as such there will be relaxed dress rules so guests can party in their swimwear. The annual party is one of the biggest in the year, there will be heaps of giveaways from Coca-Cola Australia.
Public – Sunday 26 Jan
Bushfire Charity fundraiser: Bringing the community together on Sunday from 3pm to support and celebrate our firefighters, volunteers and emergency services for their hard work and commitment throughout such a difficult time. From 4-7pm offering $10 Aperol Spritz and $6 Furphy schooners with proceeds being donated to NSW Rural Fire Services and WIRES Wildlife Rescue. Donations are available at the bar and every $5 donation provides one entry to our raffle to win Raiders tickets, GWS signed jersey, Made wine, A&C Sparkle gift voucher, golf package for 4 from Fairbairn Gold Club.
