Trev’s Café in Dickson has been serving up fantastic breakfast and lunches for the Dickson faithful over the years. Save for Saturday nights, Trev’s has typically been a weekday affair, loyally patronized by the office workers of the surrounding area.
Now, with Spring having so spectacularly sprung, Trev’s is launching a while new brunch menu that aims to satisfy even the most ferocious weekend appetite.
Perusing the menu, there’s a great collection of tried and true breakfast favourites, many of which offer a modern twist. A couple of dishes spring to mind as being particularly indulgent for when you’re lazy enough to combine two weekend meals into one. French toast with marscapone, blackberry compote and praline? Yes please! For those without a sweet tooth, the Trev’s Breakfast has all the usual fare of a large plate of breakfast treats – eggs, bacon and mushrooms etc – with the added bonus of pork and fennel sausages. Delicious!
Aside from all this, there will also be daily specials celebrating fresh seasonal produce, as well as Trev’s usual attention to delicious coffee and zesty juices.
Trev’s is open for bunch from this Saturday 7th September. To celebrate, The team from Canberra’s Cosmorex will be at the café with an array of coffee paraphernalia and beans from around the world to show you a thing or two about the craft of coffee. There’s something for everyone to learn around the development of everyone’s favourite rescue remedy.
Plus, if you’re feeling particularly naughty, you can select one of the local Lerida Estate wines. Their weekly wine specials are listed on Trev’s blackboard, and there is sure to be something to suit your brunch selection. What more could you want on a sunny weekend?
