Dance Central is always buzzing and pumping with the latest music and a positive vibe that grabs you as soon as you step in. It is all about having fun and doing what you love, which explains their kick-butt track record.
Dance Central took out the recent Battlegrounds Competition finishing first in all divisions. 200 dancers from all around Canberra came together for one of Canberra’s biggest and most recognised hip hop competitions. An audience of 500 at the Erindale Theatre saw Canberra making its mark on the international judging panel – who were impressed with the local talent.
Dance Central now goes on to compete at The World Supremacy Battlegrounds competition at Sydney’s Olympic Park in December. Dance Central proudly support Nirvana Mega Crew, 21 incredible dancers from all around Canberra who are about to head off to Vegas to represent Australia at the World Hip Hop championships.

At the Dance Central studios in Phillip, there are over 60 classes a week for everyone from age 2 years to adults in all levels. Book in for a trial, or adults can drop in for a casual class or sign up for the term. If you’ve taken a dance class before there are lots of options to get started: commercial funk, hip hop, barre body, ballet and contemporary classes are all waiting for you!
