Skate In The City is back again for 2012 and is bigger than ever! Garema Place has been converted into a magical ice wonderland with a 400-square metred open air skate rink; complete with daily sessions, ice shows, fashion parades, movie nights and an improved party lounge.
This year, OutInCanberra is offering lunch and dinner packages in conjunction with some of the city’s finest dining venues.
There are a few different packages are available for purchase:
• Italian gem La Posada is offering a 5-course ‘Assaggi’ tasting menu which includes warmed olives, zucchini fritte, garlic or herb bread, chili king prawns, pizza and a Skate in the City ticket. This package costs $35 per person and is available for lunch Tuesday to Friday from June 29 until July 29 and available for dinner Tuesday to Saturday from June 29 until July 29.
• For those who want something a little more casual, La Posada is also offering a family pizza deal which includes two medium pizzas, two small pizzas, four Gelati and Family Skate in the City tickets. This package costs $119 all up and is available for lunch Tuesday to Friday from June 29 until July 29 and available for dinner Tuesday to Saturday from June 29 until July 29.
• Another Italian delight, La Scala, is offering a dinner package which consists of a two-course meal and a Skate in the City ticket. The package is $55 and is available Sunday to Thursday from June 29 until July 29.
• La Scala is also offering a lunch package consisting of a two-course meal and a Skate in the City ticket. The package is $45 and is available Monday to Friday from June 29 until July 29.
