Local Canberra electronic-indie band SAFIA is returning to Canberra next Friday 23 September, as part of their new national tour, and we couldn’t be more excited!
These three talented Canberrans have been rocking the music scene with their fresh sound and mesmerising lyrics in tracks such as Listen to Soul, Listen to Blues and Counting Sheep.
Having previously worked with electronic music duo Peking Duk, who also hail from the nation’s capital, on big hit tracks like Take Me Over, they are certainly accustomed to big crowds and no doubt will not disappoint!.
They boys have recently released their highly anticipated debut album Internal, which was written and self produced before being mixed by Eric J Dubowsky who has recently mixed albums for the likes of Flume, Flight Facilities and Chet Faker.
Sitting at over 20 million online streams, placing in Triple J’s Hottest 100 for three consecutive years in a row and with the band now gearing up for their national tour, there is no better time to catch these guys performing live!
SAFIA has previously supported big artists such as Lord and Disclosure, while also playing coveted slots at big name events such as Groovin the Moo, Field Day, Falls Festival, The Great Escape in the UK, and Splendour in the Grass – just to name a few.
The guys have exploded across Australia and internationally in the past few years, and this opportunity to see them in their hometown is one you won’t want to miss, so grab your tickets before they sell out!
