Melbourne Cup – Thoroughbred Park
Spring Racing is back and no doubt the TAB Melbourne Cup at Thoroughbred Park will be a race carnival to remember. The first Tuesday of November (Tuesday 5 November) is highly anticipated every year; thoroughbreds race around the track and bring the biggest day of local racing and the nation stops at 3pm, holding their breath and hoping they hedged their bets on the front-runner. Gates open at 10.30am with local race giddyup by 11.15am. Watch the iconic TAB Melbourne Cup in Flemington from the big screen at Thoroughbred Park, while having a punt on a local horse too.
Melbourne Cup 2019 – The Duxton: The Duxton in conjunction with Moet Chandon and Peroni brings you Melbourne Cup 2019. Join us for the first Tuesday in November for a day of free-flowing Champagne and a 4-course lunch as we party well into the night! The Duxton offers TAB facilities for punters, along with plenty of screens to catch the race live and loud.
Unofficial Melbourne Cup after party – Bad Betti’s: Rest your feet after the track and head to the Foreshore to kick start the party! For those who don’t take the Melbourne Cup too seriously but just want to party, we have the unofficial Melbourne Cup party for you! Party starts at 4 PM, free entry, $6 Smirnoff.
Melbourne Cup Party – Lighthouse Pub: Come down to the Lighty from 12-3 PM and take advantage of the Melbourne Cup packages available! The vibration that stops the nation – Melbourne Cup 2019 – Hopscotch: Looking for something a little more exciting than champagne and canapés this Melbourne Cup? You have come to the right place! The return of Hopscotch’s most prestigious race meet – the Cox Plate is coming to you live from the beer garden, Tuesday 5 November. Racing 3-year-old dildos and above over a short turfed distance of 8 feet, this is one you don’t want to miss! 12:00 – 9:30 PM, free entry.
