Catch Liam Budge at The Abbey on Sunday 2nd December from 6.30pm.
Liam Budge has quickly established himself as a rising star in the Australian Jazz scene. This year has already seen him win the prestigious James Morrison Jazz Scholarship, and participate as a mentor in the Juilliard Jazz program. Over the last fours years Liam has performed extensively around Australia, performing at events such as the National Gallery’s re-opening and as the featured artist at Tropfest.
Liam’s music draws on the jazz traditions of the past and incorporates a modern eclectic sound. The launch at the Abbey will be a chance for Canberra to witness some of Australia’s finest Jazz musicians from Melbourne and Sydney, for what is sure to be a memorable Album Launch at the Abbey.
