Last Tuesday night Jason Derulo stopped over in Canberra between his Sydney and Melbourne shows as part of his Tattoos world tour.

The Royal Theatre was filled with people of all ages and up-and-coming rapper Fresh kicked off the night with a bang, getting the crowd in party mode with his rap songs and interesting, high energy dance moves!

RnB and Soul singer, Ricki-Lee Coulter was up next. She looked stunning, wearing a white glittery dress while showing us she still has that amazing voice discovered on Australian Idol all those years ago. Ricki-Lee sang hits such as ‘Raining Diamonds’, ‘Can’t Touch It’ and ‘Do It Like That’. There was also a great version of new soul song, ‘I Feel Love’, which had the crowd in both the standing and seating areas dancing and singing along.

Finally after what seemed like a long wait (or maybe we were too impatient?) Jason and his AWESOME and very talented dancers hit the stage for an unforgettable performance. The set was great – it was set up like a junk yard with graffiti and platforms the dancers showcased their ability to jump up onto and flip down from throughout the whole show!

After an injury earlier this year, Jason was definitely back to his best! Stopping to talk to the crowd about his journey and the fact that it was his first time to Canberra in between performances was great! His latest single ‘Talk Dirty’ has been a huge success hitting No. 1 in Australia and was a huge hit on the night with the whole crowd going wild! He performed this and other very popular songs such as ‘Trumpets’, ‘It Girl’, ‘Ridin’ Solo’ and many more!

Jason also sung a fantastic version of new single ‘Marry Me’, a tribute to his current girlfriend & singer, Jordin Sparks. To end the night a mixture of his songs and a few well-known covers was a crowd pleaser and a great finale.

It was a very entertaining night for all! We can’t wait until the next time Mr Derulo brings his show to Canberra!
