A fantastic lineup was brought to the paddock for Groovin’ the Moo 2014 on Sunday! We all knew what was planned and nothing was going to stop us festival-goers from making the most of the day ahead – not even the chilly, cold and somewhat miserable weather!
I could go on forever about how great each act was, which songs they played, how many people crowd surfed and performed three tier dancing shoulder lifts (Those peeps have guts!)….but we’d be here forever, and frankly, you should have been there!
The highlights, however, were…
Peking Duk
Running out on stage wearing full moo cow suits got the crowd in the mood for these guys and their awesome set. Newest tune ‘High’ was a massive crowd pleaser and we even got a special cameo from frontman and singer of local band SAFIA.
Violent Soho
Their popular song ‘Covered in Chrome’ got the mosh pit going crazy!
The Naked & Famous
Much more chilled out on the Channel V & Triple J Stage – these guys played faves such as Hearts Like Ours & Young Blood.
Dizzee Racal
Dizzee was insane, as always! He played non-stop party music which had everyone dancing and singing along! The atmosphere was fantastic – at this point it was almost the end of the day, but it seemed everyone stuck around for this one not-to-be-missed act!
Disclosure
These guys are huge right now and their performance in the packed Moolin Rouge tent proved that they are ticking everyone’s boxes!
