It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: today Grease Monkey opened their little red gate to a great public turnout.
With the weather finally coming good there was a full house for lunch, and the sunshine meant it was warm enough to sit in the outdoor area. Being Friday, everyone was in the mood for a burger with fries. The OIC team was among the first to get in and check it out.
So, what’s it all about?
The Slogan: “Burgers you’ll go apesh*t over”
This has been plastered on the side of the Grease Monkey for some time, and given our love for a good food challenge you could say we’ve been going bananas waiting to get one into our bellies!

The short answer is, “Yes, definitely…” (without all the ‘oooh oooh’ and ‘ah ah’ and jumping up-and-down of course).
So here are the burgers we would go apesh**t for
(A.K.A. The top four burgers from the menu).
The Nimbin: A large portobello mushy crumbed and placed on top of the usual suspects – lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese – and their own ‘Greasy’s’ sauce squished between a sweet brioche bun.
The Dirty Bird: Southern Fried Chicken with the usual suspects and Greasy’s sauce.
The Double Deluxe: Double beef, double cheese, bacon, Grease Monkey ketchup, onions, pickles, mustard and Greasy’s sauce.
The Greasy: Beef patty, cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, mustard, Grease Monkey ketchup and Greasy’s sauce.

All in all, our rating is: FOUR Monkey Emojis! The burgers are pretty much top-notch and we’ll be wandering over again very soon!
