We are entering party season, and QT Canberra is kicking things off with a mysterious party called Eden. Just like the biblical story, this little piece of paradise starts the evening with innocence at sunset, until the first drop of gin kicks in and it’s time to sin. The boutique Hotel has collaborated with local gin masters The Canberra Distillery to develop Eden Limited Edition.
“It is very fragrant on the nose and palette and transforms in colour,” Le Trac from The Canberra Distillery says. “A lot of native botanicals including strawberry gum, wattle seed and lemon myrtle have been infused. Summer fruits such as blackberry, passionfruit, orange, lemon and tangelos give a sweet flavour.”
Guests will receive an Eden Edition cocktail comprising of a sprig of spring and a pinch of poison on arrival. Bespoke roaming canapes will add a curious taste for the night which is promising anything but ordinary.
“Coming into spring/summer QT Canberra wants to offer guests an enchanting sunset experience,” Shannon Craig, QT Canberra General Manager says. “Each year QT Canberra transform their deck to give guests a taste of the party season, and this year’s event series will leave you very curious.”
Eden is a 4-part event series onthe QT Canberra deck running over the party season. The launch event is kicking off Friday 28 September.
