Love a good beer?

Well, who doesn’t? The beauty of a good brew is that even when the weather turns a bit cooler (um, hello Spring…???), you can always fins the perfect pint to match the prevailing mood.

One brewery that has recently taken Australia by storm is Feral Brewing Company. Hailing from the outskirts of Perth, we can assure you that the bespoke product produced by Feral is a lot more refined than it sounds. Why wouldn’t be? With its setting in the beautiful Swan Valley – home of some of Western Australia’s best wineries and gourmet food producers – this hand-crafted microbrewery has easily risen to the challenge presented by its neighbours. As a result, Feral has cleaned up awards across Australia.

The good news is you can grab one of the delicious varieties that is being produced during the first Feral Beer Tap takeover at Transit Bar this weekend.

From Friday afternoon until Sunday night, Transit Bar is dedicating all eight of its taps to the best of the west. Over the last 12 months, Feral’s Hop Hog has become one of the favourite beers down at Transit, so we can imagine that with another half dozen flavours to try, there will be a keen collection of beer-loving Canberrans heading down the stairs from Akuna Street to get a taste of the intriguing new brews on offer.

As always, the helpful bartenders at Transit bar will be there to guide you through your tour of the taps. So be sure to grab some mates, sidle up to the bar and enjoy and afternoon/evening/late night/it’s-time-to-go-home-now with the Feral Brewing family.
