Canberra’s top athletes and teams and special contributors to community sport were recognised for their outstanding achievements at the 2019 CBR Sport Awards at the Arboretum last week. OutInCanberra hosted the voting platform, in conjunction with the support from ACT Government. The CBR Sports Awards are presented by Canberra Milk, who generously donated $5,000 towards sporting equipment, to the Canberra Croquet Club for the People’s Sporting Champion Award for 2019.
Minister for Sport and Recreation, Yevette Berry said “We have a great passion for sport here in Canberra and we love supporting our elite athletes and teams and participating in community sport.
