From Monday 14th January until Thursday 14th February, people can vote on the top 100 things to like about Canberra as identified in the Like Canberra Centenary of Canberra local engagement campaign.

Since the campaign launched in October, people visiting the Like Canberra website nominated 13,741 reasons why they like Canberra. Reasons ranged from the trees and the Brindabellas, to the fact that supermarkets close at midnight to the Humans vs. Zombies in Haig Park.

All the nominations have been grouped into 25 categories themed around outdoor adventures, national and cultural attractions, quality of life, natural environment, ease of living and quirky and cool.

Each category has a list of nominations people can vote on – some have as few as 15, others more than 50 and there are simple instructions on the website on how to vote.

People can vote as many times as they like, but can only vote once for each nomination and when voting closes, a list of the top 100 reasons people like Canberra will be produced.
