The Canberra International Music Festival is back for another year.
The festival will feature music performed by acts from all walks of life, and will take place in many of Canberra’s iconic architectural spaces, including the National Gallery of Australia, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Museum of Australia, the High Court of Australia, the Australian War Memorial, Albert Hall and more.
The festival will run over 10 days between the 11th and 20th of May, and will feature 30 concerts from various international and local acts including, the Wallfisch Band, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, the New Zealand String Quartet, the Song Company, Osmosis and composer in residence Peteris Vasks.
Canberra’s International Music Festival is a fantastic way to spend 10 days, or perhaps just a long weekend, and is an event you won’t want to miss.
