Taste more than 200 different wines when two of Australia’s artisan winemakers bring their wares to Canberra.
Tastes of Two Regions sees Rutherglen and the King Valley wine regions hit the road to visit Canberra to showcase their award winning wine and produce.
Sip, sample and savour from 200 wines, as well as cheeses, olives, chocolate and dozens of local foods from 25 regional artisans at the expo at Pialligo Estate on Sunday 12 August.
The day features intimate masterclasses where you can meet the makers, stock your pantry and be inspired for your next gourmet getaway.
Book in to one of the free masterclasses (bookings essential!) with a celebrated winemaker or producer and get up close and personal with their amazing passion and produce.
From wine tasting experiences to food matching, cooking classes to cocktail making, you should consider booking your masterclass outside of your tasting session time, to make the most of the day.
For a more relaxed day, you and your partner can enjoy a hamper stocked with Pialligo smoke chicken, house-made pickles, lavoche bread, Wicked Virgin olives, and cheese from Milawa Cheese Co and Boosey Creek Cheeses.
There’s also the chance to make a dinner date with Rutherglen Winemakers on Saturday 11 August at Boathouse Restaurant, where the wine is perfectly matched to a five-course degustation dinner for a night of fine wine appreciation.
Tastes of Two Regions is a ticketed event and includes a 3hr tasting session, live entertainment in the grounds of Pialligo Estate, and a free Spiegelau tasting glass to take home.
