In what’s being hailed as a world first event, the Canberra markets scene is getting a tech makeover, when blockchain technology will be able to be used to purchase goods from the ACT region’s finest makers, designers and artisans at Crown Market Canberra.
On Saturday 7 April in the Budawang Pavilion at EPIC, 100 local sellers will take part in Crown Market Canberra, a showcase of the region’s creative community, providing Canberrans with a perfect opportunity to connect with the makers, curators and designers behind unique handmade, vintage and artisan goods.
The event is about encouraging people to support local and provide the chance for people to learn about and use blockchain technology to purchase goods. Come and experience blockchain for your chance to share in more than $4000 of prizes, with a grand prize of a system node worth $2000, based on CRW average exchange rate for January 2018.
The event will include live music, food stalls and the region’s best wineries.
Meet Place – ACT and Surrounds is a team of makers and designers located in the Canberra region who promote Australian handmade and vintage items from members of the team.
