Get Ready, Canberra Diners! GourMay is almost here!
In Canberra we have every reason to be proud of a great dining scene. We are blessed with an entire community of chefs, cooks, waiters and bartenders that slave to bring us everything from culinary classics to cutting-edge cuisine.
In May, OutInCanberra is working with some of the best around town to bring you GourMay – a month-long celebration of Canberra dining.
For each of the next 30 days, we’ll be featuring a different experience every day. It could be a simple appetizer… or an accompaniment to a cocktail. It might be a feature dish created especially for GourMay, or a full degustation (that might leave you wobbling slightly on your way out the door!). That’s the great thing about Canberra dining… it’s so many things to so many people!
To make things even better, we’ve partnered with Lerida Wines to add that extra edge to the dining experience. Be it through simple matching of wines to featured dishes, a pairing at dinner one night or a fully-fledged wine dinner, this is a great opportunity to learn about the work of the Lake George winery and see how beautifully local food and wines go together.
