Canberra’a iconic chocolateria Koko Black on Bunda Street, has launched a collaboration – Koko Black X Dan Hunter seeing the arrival of three new Chef Dan Hunter desserts featuring Australian native ingredients.
Dan Hunter is renowned for his passion of Native ingredients and sustainability at his farmhouse restaurant in Birregurra, VIC.
The three new desserts to check out include:
Lemon aspen and roasted wattle seed, coconut and chocolate bomb
Coconut sponge, 73% dark chocolate marshmallow, Lemon Aspen jelly with caramelised coconut and Whipstick Wattle seed, coated in 54% dark chocolate.
Macadamia intense and whipped golden chocolate salted ice-cream sandwich
Macadamia biscuit parfait, honey crumble and caramelised white chocolate, salted caramelised white chocolate whipped ganache and white soy macadamia paste.
If you prefer chocolates, there’s also a Dan Hunter Tasting Plate featuring of all Dan’s most popular pralines paired with Koko Black’s Classic Belgian Hot Chocolate
Strawberry Gum ganache and passionfruit jelly, 54% dark chocolate
Salted macadamia caramel and Arriba 39% single origin
Davidson Plum jelly and Sao Thome 70% single origin ganache
