By now you have probably heard about the trials and tribulations of Wyrmwood, an Australian-made zombie flick that has been a labour of love for its producers for the last few years.

Pardon the pun, but from all reports it’s bloody good, however this has caused a bit of a storm on BitTorrent, quickly becoming the most illegally-download movie last week.

Not cool. We’ve all heard the arguments for and against torrenting, but at the end of the day its just plain stealing.

To help raise funds for the producers who have barely made back a snippet of their investment back since releasing this awesome flick into the world, Dendy is hosting a special screening on Friday 6 March. The filmmakers are coming along for a Q&A, so you’ll get really good access to the guys behind Wyrmwood.

This is a chance to get behind Aussie movies and support the local industry. Grab your tickets from here now, as the organisers need to secure the cinema.

If you’ve got any interest in zombies, filmmaking or just a bloody good time, you simply have to be there.

Do it… or we’ll eat your brains! You can see more about Wyrmwood at their Facebook Event Page (click here), or check out the trailer on this page.
