Djuki Mala at Spiegeltent – Fri 12 – Sat 13 April

Indigenous dance sensation DJUKI MALA, will shake The Spiegeltent with their much loved, highly awarded, must-see show that has sold out venues around the world. This year’s Spiegeltent season at Canberra Theatre Centre will give Canberra audiences the opportunity to see the show that put DJUKI MALA on the map. Adult Chocolate Making Workshop – Sat 13 April

World’s largest Easter Egg Hunt for dogs – Sat 13 April

Calling all doggos! The Mad Paws Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 12:00, Yarralumla Dog Park, Banks Street, Canberra! At synchronised times across Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Canberra and Brisbane, canine companions and their humans will gather to begin their search for dog-friendly Easter Eggs as part of the Mad Paws Easter Egg Hunt.  Mad Paws previously hosted Australia’s largest Doggy Easter Egg Hunt with their  2018 event in Sydney. This year, it is aiming to top last year’s feat by hosting the WORLD’s largest hunt across five states at once with lots of fun games and prizes on the day. The hunt is free and open to everyone.

Record Store Day at Landspeed Records – Sat 13 April

Canberra’s Landspeed Records will be celebrating Record Store Day from 10am. Record Store Day is an international celebration of independently owned music stores with physical locations where customers can browse the racks and talk to expert staff about new music and artists. Landspeed Records located in 30 Garema Place, Civic hosts one of the biggest Record Store Day events in the nation. Despite the rise of music downloading and streaming, vinyl records are more popular than ever. On sale on the day will be limited edition Record Store Day vinyl releases. Landspeed will also hold a second-hand vinyl sale with over 2000 quality second-hand records for sale.

The Australian Running Festival – Sat 13 – Sun 14 April

The Canberra Times Australian Running Festival presented by Tata Consultancy Services is coming back on April 13-14. Thousands of runners are set to join us for a weekend in iconic Canberra to take on one of our five scenic courses.
