Ainslie will have its first taste of Mama Dough pizza this week!
The latest venture from renowned restaurateur Frank Condi – the man behind Edgar’s, Shorty’s, Public and clubs including Academy and Mr Wolf – will open on Thursday.
The new pizza joint is located between Pulp Kitchen and Edgar’s. The freshly made wood-fired pizza is served out of an imported Italian Forno Bravo pizza oven by master-pizza maker Giovani Auzino. Hailing from the city of pizza, Naples, Gio has brought his secret family dough recipe to Canberra.
We’re keen to try out the ‘unusual’ pizzas Mama Dough promises, featuring sausage, chips and smoked mozzarella, and the one with zucchini, calamari, roast potato and fried basil sounds like an experience.
Mama Dough will also offer Pizzamisu, a Nutella and ricotta calzone with hazelnut and mascarpone custard, and a selection of antipasto.
Ainslie’s new pizza shop Mama Dough will open on Thursday 26 October at 5.00pm.
