Try your hand at carp fishing on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin at Lennox Gardens on Sunday 18th March 2012.
Enjoy time with friends and family as you help remove noxious fish species from the lake which will then be converted into fertislier.
Profits from the Carp-Out will go towards the Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group and also towards ACT’s lakes to provide further recreational fishing opportunities for the future.
Register down at Lennox Gardens and you can also go into the draw to win a great prize.
The weigh station opens at 10am and the presentation is at 4pm. Tickets for adults are $15 each, $10 for children and a family pass is $30.
