Debacle
The best gourmet pizza in Canberra is at Debacle in Braddon. Thin base, not too many toppings mixed together, nice cheese.I love especially the one with goats cheese and spinach… mmm delicious.

Sub-Urban
Definitely the Mediterranean at Sub-Urban – a little greasy but also gourmet, covered in feta, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, Spanish onion, roasted peppers and topped with a drizzle of pesto. I tell you, this pizza is the shiz!

La Capanna
Without a doubt, La Capanna in Kingston. The only pizza I’ve ever eaten that comes CLOSE to La Capanna was in Sorrento, Italy. And it still didn’t beat it. Great flavours with a thick and deliciously floury and slightly salty dough, with perfectly fresh ingredients. Definitely worth getting their salads too – only place outside Italy that gets what an insalata caprese is supposed to look like.

Da Nunzio
Da Nunzio at Yerrabi Pond, Gungahlin makes the best kids’ gourmet pizza that I have seen – beautiful thin crust, tomato sauce and fried potato chips on top – everything kids love, with nothing that they don’t. It evens comes with a free gelato.

Bicicletta
You can cycle around Canberra to find the best pizza but in my opinion you can’t go past Biccicletta. Runs rings around the others.

Trev’s at Dickson
I think the best gourmet pizza in Canberra is Trev’s at Dickson. I had the Renaissance pizza recently and it was delicious! Well worth a visit.
