Nadine Labaki’s Where Do We Go Now is about an isolated village with a close-knit group of Muslim and Christian women who meet daily at the local café to share gossip and song. When their village comes under threat from inter-religious tensions, the women band together and come up with a plan to distract their local menfolk.
