Flint in the Vines
Flint in the Vines is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Located in Murrumbateman, the food is sensational, as is the wine and the service. If you want to get out of town, but not go too far, Flint in the Vines is the place to go.

Lambert Vineyards
The best place to eat within 3 hours of Canberra is the restaurant at Lambert Vineyards in Wamboin. Just 30 minutes’ drive from Canberra- it has a cheese soufflé to die for!

Gundaroo Colonial Inn
Definitely the Gundaroo Colonial Inn. To top off delicious food, large servings, value for money, cosy surroundings and attentive service, is the scenic drive out to Gundaroo and the historic village and shops to meander through after the meal.

Les Trés Bon
I would have to say Les Trés Bon in Bungendore (formally a restaurant in Manuka) takes my vote! Each dish melts in your mouth and the owner travels to and from France regularly to get more recipes to add to the menu! It’s a wonderful experience each time I take people there!

Grazing
The best restaurant outside of Canberra would have to be Grazing at Gundaroo. The amazing food changes seasonally and uses fresh produce grown in the gardens nearby, the wine selection is great and the service is always friendly and prompt. Well worth the drive!

Poachers Pantry
Poachers Pantry in Hall is superb. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and the wine selection is great. Take a walk on the ground during the warmer weather, beautiful!
