Independence Day is the National Day of the United States. In which, on July 4, 1776 it was declared independence from Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States.

The Durham
Get out your red, white and blue, unfurl the flag with 50 stars and get down to Canberra’s favourite English pub, the Durham Castle Arms as they go American for a day! Saturday, July 4th, the Durham transforms itself with a true display of Americana patriotism.
