The word is out people! Canberra is fast becoming the foodie capital and food vendors from across Australia are catching wind.
The inaugural The Commons Street Feast is setting up shop in the nation’s capital on 9-18 December, combining your every guilty food pleasure into a 10-day summer celebration of street food.
Commonwealth Park will play host to over 20 of Australia’s premier food trucks, artisan chefs, craft brewers and much more for the ultimate feastival.
The free event is open for dinner every night of the season and from midday on weekends, with activities for the kids during the day and a licensed 18+ bar areas on site.

The award-winning Gelato Messina will be creating edible art with their international Soup Kitchen at The Commons. Visitors can also sink their teeth into cult favourite Mary’s, which will be serving mouthwatering burgers at its own pop-up restaurant.
Festival favourite Bao Stop is bringing its infamous trifecta bao, peeking duck fries and never-seen-before cocktail bar. Happy as Larry will be dishing up traditional Napoli wood-fired pizza made fresh from its truck, and Pialliago Estate will be serving up its famous locally cured meat and cheese platters.

Installed within a custom art installation will be a dedicated Espresso Martini Bar, serving premium cold drip espresso martinis courtesy of The Melbourne Martini.
Showcasing some of the nation’s finest brews will be a bespoke Craft Beer Bar, pouring the likes of Little Creatures, Batlow Cider, Capital Brewing Co and Pact Beer Co.
A caravan serving the regional finest wines? Certainly, thanks to Rogue Wines which is bringing its custom wine caravan to Canberra for the very first time.
