Legends Spanish Restaurant are celebrating their 15-year anniversary with 15th Year Fiesta and you are invited!
Indulge in a $35 fiesta banquet which includes Sangria, Tapas and Paella (minimum 2 people). The full menu is also available with $15 jugs of Sangria all night long.
Owners Antonio and Kaylene Romero opened up the popular Spanish tapas Manuka establishment in 1997. Antonio started off being head chef and Kaylene managed front of house operations. It started off in Palmerston Lane in Manuka as just a 50-seat restaurant with only a brigade of six staff, including themselves.
In 2000 they moved premises to the upstairs floor of the Capitol Theatre building on Franklin street and opened up their new 150-seat restaurant. In 2004 Antonio passed on his Head Chef duties and became the front of house host.
In 2009, Legends expanded even further by taking over the downstairs premises and now had a 400 person capacity and a team of 35 staff members.
In 2012, Legends moved back upstairs.
Legends Spanish Restaurant is famous for large group bookings, Wednesday Spanish ribs night, Suckling pig banquets and traditional paellas.
To celebrate the success of Legends, they are holding a 15th Year Fiesta anniversary party on Thursday 29th March 2012 from 6.00pm – 10.00pm at Legends Spanish Restaurant.
The original guitarist of Legends, Steve Allen will also be performing live on the night.
