We have been racking our brains as to why the Queer Eye crew are in Canberra! And just like that, it made so much sense (with help from the above image). It is highly speculated that the boys are in fact going to YASS – of course, why didn’t we think of that Yaaas!
In anticipation of season two of Queer Eye dropping on Netflix mid-June Antoni Porowsi, Tan France, Karomo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness and Bobby Berk announced they would be visiting Australia – but no one expected they would close enough to touch!
Social media has been exploding today with locals lining up for happy snaps in none other than the Cupping Room – pays to be voted Canberra’s best café by Lonely Planet! For those who follow the fab five on Instagram we were shocked to see an upload of a concrete bathtub following their in-flight posts. Any local knows this distinct room is by none other than Ovolo (Hotel Hotel).
The finer details of the tour have been kept under wraps, but what we do know is a makeover will be taking place!

Our spies also revealed to us that the fab five, or at least Antoni, would be taking over the kitchen of Trader & Co in Yass on the morning of the 6th of June. We have since found out that the Queer Eye production team have instead opted for a local pub, however we do have it on good authority that Antoni will be making use of local produce including a pumpkin sourced from Trader & Co. Lucky pumpkin.
