The Kingston Foreshore’s Molto Italian have launched their first ever ‘Bottomless Brunch,’ and if brunch style wood-fired pizza isn’t enough to get you there, they also have Prosecco icy poles.
We started with a sophisticated high tea tower of freshly made Italian desserts, seasonal fruits and a honey cardamom panna cotta. I love a sweet before a savoury, so this was the ideal start to my Sunday morning. I got stuck into the cinnamon bombolini and cannoli before even considering what a beautiful backdrop the lake was to get an insta-upload with the tea tower.
My glass of Prosecco never seemed to diminish, staff quick on the refills (the Italian way to brunch), as we polished off the seasonal fruits.
Next up was a selection of hand stretched, brunch style pizza straight out of the wood fired oven. With a choice of four toppings the most difficult part of your day will be deciding which one to order. Think fresh torn Burrata with Italian sausage and crispy bacon or eggs Florentine with a tomato base, spinach, egg and mozzarella drizzled with hollandaise. What’s better, all pizzas can be made gluten free or with vegan cheese, so no one misses out.
Dessert has been designed directly to align with summers spent of the Foreshore. Molto’s signature pops of Prosecco, blood orange liqueur, blueberry and mint or the Peach melba yoghurt and raspberry fizz pop are the most refreshing thing you’ll try all season. The only downfall is they look too pretty to eat.
Pop went the champagne and pop went my top button after indulging in the Molto Italian Bottomless Brunch.
Molto Italian Bottomless Brunch will be on offer every Sunday throughout summer from 10.30am – 12:30pm, $35 per person. If you are looking to take it up a notch, swap out the Prosecco for French Champagne for $50 per person.
