Coming soon to Kingston is American style restaurant Hale + Mary. Think American-style burgers, 20 plus television screens and a new perspective on the sports dining experience.
With a long bar designed as a counter to eat and watch the game, Hail + Mary is turning the sports atmosphere on its head.
Owners Brentyn and Darren Wilson, Tony Haider and Michael Saloum aim to change the way people view sports in Canberra.
“It’s not just a way to get the men out of the house, it’s an experience that should be enjoyed with a great meal, family and friends in a great atmosphere,” said owner Brentyn Wilson.
“This isn’t your average sports bar… it’s a sports restaurant,” he said.
Much like the Hale Mary pass in NFL, the guys wanted the venue to be named after something all American’s would understand, and reigns true to the atmosphere of the place. For those of you who aren’t aware, the Hale Mary pass is the last play thrown to win the game.
Featuring some amazing American style eats, Canberrans should look out for some epic gourmet burgers and weekend only champagne breakfast.
Hale + Mary will be open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner – with an ever changing special board that will have you coming back for more.
Opening in early April, Hale + Mary may be owned by born and bred Canberrans, but is bringing a taste of the American sporting atmosphere to the Inner South.
