Last year we saw Canberra artists transform a drab, urban laneway into an animated playground of street art for the Tocumwal Lane Street Party. This year, Canberra Wines is bringing the Food and Wine in the Laneway Festival to the vibrant heart of the city.
The Canberra district’s wineries will be coming to the city’s colourful Tocumwal Lane this Friday and Saturday, from 4pm to 9pm. Not only will there be amazing local wines coming to the laneway, there will also be some great local food on offer. Enjoy the delights of Oysters Unplugged, Pod Food and Mr Papa.
Be sure to make your way there to enjoy the region’s best food and wine surrounded by festoon lights, local musicians and, of course, incredible street art.
For just $20 you will receive a souvenir glass that will be your ticket to taste as many wines as you like. You can expect to see wines from Four Winds Vineyard, Marrumbateman Winery, Clonakilla Wines and many more.
If you just can’t get enough, additional glasses and bottles of will also be available to purchase.
