Canberra is lucky enough to be hosting yet another Food and Wine Expo this year. Running over three days, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 February, the festival is an event that the foodies and vino lovers of Canberra will not want to miss. All the action is taking place at the National Convention Centre located in the heart of the city.
This year’s expo will be jam-packed with free tastings, recipes, new trends and products which will excite everyone’s taste buds. The businesses on show range from wineries to gourmet food and kitchen/homewares companies.
For those looking for an exquisite dining experience, the dining room at this year’s expo is not one to miss. Ben Milbourne, MasterChef extraordinaire and TV host, is running the show as he enjoys a 6-course meal with you and shares some insider knowledge.
Throughout the day there will be free live demonstrations, where you can grab a seat and listen to celebrity and local chefs. If you’re looking for specific knowledge and skills in an area, the Appreciation Area in the centre will be hosting classes as well.
