Just because you’re not little anymore doesn’t mean that the Easter Bunny can’t pay you a visit. It does, however, mean that you can be a bit more selective with your choice of chocolate. As much as I love a classic Cadbury bunny, sometimes it’s nice to get a little fancy. Here are some boutique chocolate shops in Canberra that are putting on a truly egg-cellent Easter selection.

Lindsay & Edmunds

20 Amberley Ave

Canberra Airport

This hidden gem is tucked away in Fairburn, the suburb just behind Canberra airport. Lindsay & Edmunds was started by a husband and wife who, after living in France for a year, became infactuated with the quality of chocolate and decided to create something similar in Australia. The best part is that all chocolate from Lindsay & Edmunds is 100% Fair trade and Organic Certified, so you can definitely feel good about indulging.

Robyn Rowe Chocolate’s

1153 Nanima Road

Murrumbateman

The star of the Canberra Summerside Festival this year was the Murrumbateman boutique chocolatier Robyn Rowe Chocolate’s. Just a short drive away from Canberra, Robyn Rowe has a number of chocolate delights to indulge in this Easter. I recommend the hand-dipped truffles – they are to die for!

Koko Black

Shop FG02

Canberra Centre

We can’t talk about chocolate without mentioning the forever classic Koko Black. A whole section in the store is dedicated to what the team has named ‘Easter Expeditions’. My recommendation for this year would definitely include Hot Cross Bites,  Hazelnut Praline Quail Eggs, and a large Easter bunny.

San Churro

Bradley St

Philip

Woden’s San Churro has just about the cutest Easter set-up, potentially in the whole of Canberra. I especially love the grassy green bunnies scattered around the shop. I’m looking forward to finding some Specklie’s hidden around the garden this year!
