Event Recap: DJ Yoda @ Academy

Catching your reflection in the mirrors that greet you at the steps of Academy, you can’t help but consider the choices made leading up to this point. Thankfully I’m feeling pretty good about myself, its 11pm and I know exactly what I’ve got myself into: DJ Yoda.

DJ Yoda and I have a bit of a history. He’s helped me celebrate a birthday at the 24 hour merry-go-round that is Revolver on Melbourne’s Chapel St, and more recently, New Year’s at Falls Festival. Needless to say, I don’t need much encouragement to see Yoda.

The search for the Myer Face of Canberra Racing is on again, with entries now open. So do you have what it takes?

2012 Face of Canberra Racing winner Natasha Roberts says the experience she has gained from her position has been amazing.

"I’ve had some fantastic opportunities", Natasha said.
"I hosted Thoroughbred Park Fashion TV, there was plenty of photo shoots throughout the year, and I even gained television experience, filming commercials for Club sponsors. The experience was invaluable".

Natasha’s title included speaking at engagements and hosting several functions.

Walking into Soju Girl I was blown away by the size of the vicinity. Who knew that such a place, tucked into the depths and darkness of the Melbourne Building was going to be so large.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is stylish, yet not pretentious and the cocktail lounge has a cool air of sophistication to it.

Excitement at Flint in the Vines

Flint in the Vines has some exciting new events coming up over the next couple of months and they are all sure to be winners.

Flint in the Vines has recently purchased an amazing outdoor cinema. They are showing their first five films from Wednesday 25th January.

The screenings are at sundown with American Graffiti on Wednesday 25th, Lantana on Thursday 26th, Kings Speech on Friday 27th, Sideways on Saturday 28th of January and Red Dog on Friday 2nd March.
